What is an access control system?
An access control system is an electronic security solution that regulates who can enter or exit a physical location — and when. It authenticates users through credentials such as RFID cards, biometric fingerprints, face recognition, NFC tags, or PIN codes, and either grants or denies access based on pre-set rules.
Every access event is logged with a timestamp, user ID, and location — giving organisations complete visibility over who is where, and when.
A complete system typically includes a credential reader (RFID, NFC, or biometric), an access controller (4-door panel), a locking mechanism (EM lock, boom barrier, or turnstile), and a cloud dashboard for real-time monitoring and reporting.

How our access control system works
From the moment a credential is presented to the moment a door opens — here is what happens.
Credential Presented
User taps RFID / NFC card, uses biometric, PIN, or UHF tag at range. UHF readers detect credentials from up to 15 metres.
Signal Captured & Forwarded
Reader captures the unique credential ID and forwards it to the 4-door access control panel via TCP/IP or RS485 — in milliseconds.
Controller Validates Credentials
Panel checks credential against stored user database, verifies time-zone rules, and confirms permission for that specific door.
Entry Granted or Denied
If authorised: relay triggers — EM lock releases, boom barrier lifts, or turnstile arm rotates. If denied: rejection signal, no gate action.
Event Logged & Synced
Every access event — granted or denied — is logged with user ID, timestamp, door ID, and credential type. Data syncs to cloud in real time.
Reports & Alerts Generated
Cloud dashboard generates daily attendance reports, late-entry alerts, unusual-access notifications, and compliance-ready audit logs.
